Speaking of just dope, I saw this on Nah Right the other day:

Araabmuzik is best known for producing beats for Dipset.  I’m not a big Dipset fan, but this dude is deadly on the MPC, and this clip is well worth checking out.

No doubt, his beats are filthy in their own right.  But in my opinion, homie should expand his professional repertoire and get out of the crappy commercial rap game.  He’s definitely got the talent.  Shiiiitt… I’d go see him do his live MPC thing if it’s gonna be this good.

Never been a BMX’er. Maybe it’s time to start? Looks like some good times with Nigel Sylvester. Video via the big guy up north, Khalil Crisis, aka Khingz.

With bass, that is.

Fulgeance is that dude. Based out of the bastion of democratic fulmination that is France, dude has been putting some serious sounds out into the world for some time now. We first heard him on Beat Dimensions Vol. 2 (late pass? okay, sure, whatever), and then got hipped again by the homie WD4D. Bottom line, he’s hitting the game hard, in the best possible way.

Here’s what you should do: download the following songs because they’re mighty fine. Then. You should actually purchase his new EP, Smartbanging, because it is fire and you will be supporting good shit. Yep.

This is some filthyness. Sabzi, noted worldwide man of leisure and DJ/producer for Northwest hip hop heroes Blue Scholars and Common Market, is throwing a party. It’s called Tropikali. And it’s all about the goodness we love here on LxNxM.

To promote/celebrate, Sabz just put out a mixtape of reggae/dancehall/Jawaiian goodness for your earballs. Download, listen, and if you’re in Seattle, show up on November 28th at the Vera Project for the official get down.

Sabzi – Tropikali mixtape

Andrew Meza got together with Scotland (yes, Scotland again) art/sound collective, LuckyMe, and put out this high quality mix a few days ago.  It’s very good, as most everything associated with Andrew Meza is.

If you don’t already know, Andrew Meza has been making quite a name for himself since 2003.  That was the year he enrolled in classes at Cal State Fullerton and launched his radio show, Beneath the Surface, on the college’s fledgling station.  What started as a hip hop show, quickly became an everything awesome/hip hop show.  Now known simply as BTS Radio, the show has since blown up and graduated from college to the global scene.  Meza has been steady putting out mixes under the BTS Radio name for a minute now.

Catch up on your BTS if you’ve been sleepin.  You won’t be disappointed.  Peep the £s and Pancakes tracklist after the jump.

i was going to blog about how this album was perfect for late nights and rainy days, and then i saw that one of my favorite blogs linked to the fact magazine mix that king midas sound put together. gvb calls it “perfect,” and it’s really hard to argue with that. download it here, and check the tracklist over here. enjoy the flylo remix of one of the stand-out tracks on the album over here. and any mix that features this song is almost certainly going to get love from me.

i can’t wait for that original flavor.

Cosmo Baker over at the Rub dropped this mixtape a few days ago with his homie, 4th Pyramid.  They’re calling themselves the Sheen Brothers (I think the Estevez brothers would have sounded better, personally).  This is their second installment of  funk classics, rarities and remixes .  It’s quality music for all occasions.  Enjoy it solo on your ipod, with your special someone (in bed), or with friends and family at your upcoming Thanksgiving dinner party.   Scumbag Funk Vol.2 (direct download link).

I’ve always been on the fence when it comes to Freeway.  But, really, when he isn’t yelling into the mic, or repeating the same word over and over in his rhymes, he’s actually a pretty good emcee (that reads way harsher than I intend it to, but it’s true).  I mean, you can tell he’s really feelin what he’s spittin, cuz he’s got that angsty flow.

Now that Philadelphia Freeway has teamed up with Seatown’s own Jake One, it’s a whole other story.  I am unequivocally behind this project.  Freeway has  mellowed out his style a lil bit, but he still manages to get his voice through, and he absolutely smashes the oh-so-smooth soul hop rhythms provided by Jake One.  Plus, with DJ Don Cannon (step back!), of Aphiliates and Gangsta Grillz fame, as DJ and host, you can’t go wrong.  Don’t sleep.  Download this mixtape and prepare yourself for the album, The Stimulus Package, which is coming out on Rhymesayers in February 2010.
