About a month ago, Tang was totally impressed with the MP3 version of Erykah Badu’s “Window Seat” track. It’s the lead single off her up coming album, …Return of the Anhk, and an amazing display of how dope James Poyser is when it comes to creating a neo-soul pop song.
A few days ago, Erykah showed up on the Late Night With Jimmy Fallon Show and performed the song with the Roots behind her. It totally makes since considering that ?uestlove co-produced the track. Two things immediately stand out after watching this video: (1)Regina King is fine! and (2) Jimmy Fallon is the luckiest TV host in late night history. He’s the unfunniest motherfucker to hold such a post in years yet blessed with such rich musical guests on a nightly basis that NBC turns a blind eye. Must be nice.
