This is a bit of a late-pass post (i saw this track on blogs all over earlier this week), but that’s a dumb excuse not to share it. salem is a band from michigan making crazy, crazy music that is invariably described as resembling cough-syrup highs/lows. they’ve made a couple mixtapes, remixed a few gucci mane songs, and released a couple eps. salem has a record dropping in september and the lead single, “king night” found its way onto the internet on tuesday. salem is, i imagine, very polarizing. i hate a lot of what i’ve heard by them, but then there are tracks like this which i love. i like that quality though–it keeps shit interesting.
