This video is trippy, mayne.
You might recall that I posted this riddim a couple months back. Well, the videos have started coming in:
Here’s a dope, fairly recent classic rock mix that DJs Ayres and Eleven, aka The Rub, made to commemorate the 10 year anniversary of their Brooklyn dance party/DJ night: “We came up with a big list, and then narrowed it down to 1967-1973, took out the obvious “UBB Rock Breaks” (“In-a-Gadda-Da-Vida”) and the stuff which was too soft (“Strawberry Letter 23″), then we each mixed for 30 minutes and boom!”
Congrats on ten years, dudes.

I concur with the message of this song. Alcohol is a helluva drug.
These are the two best remixes I’ve heard of the popular G.O.O.D. Music single:
Hudson Mohawke – “Lambo Furnace”
I’m pretty sure that Danny Brown doesn’t give a fuck about what you think of his love for cocaine and pills, so I guess I don’t either. Shouts out to Danny and the legendary grime producer/vocalist Darq E Freaker for linking up and making this stupid ignorant party track. The here.
It’s Sunday, I’m bored, and I haven’t posted much recently, so I’m about to blast y’all with a bunch of stuff. Some of it’s new, some of it’s not so new. Anyway, here it goes. POW!

Tomorrow night, Moe Bar belongs to LNM! Well, not really, but we’ll be playing the music at least. Come through with your posse and get down with us. Toast and I will treat your earholes right. 10pm to close, 21+, no cover. Dance the night away. Boom.
TNGHT, comprised of LNM favorites Lunice and Hudson Mowhawke, drops their self-titled EP June 23/24 on Warp and LuckyMe. I’ve been looking forward to this collabo project since reading about their debut at SXSW a few months ago. The preview sounds like the wait is going to be well worth it.
I hope that these dudes’ tunes don’t get lost in all the “trap” hype that’s been brewing on the internet. That would be a shame. These guys have definitely been on some next level shit for a minute now, and that should be recognized.
