Ah hell yeah! This is a mixtape we can really get behind! Top three reasons this mix is the shit:

1) It comes to us courtesy of the homies over at Emayo Cutz, who are holding down the cumbia scene like bosses of all bosses.

2) Arizona is fucking up people’s lives right now, and any way we can give that a little more light is good.

3) The mix is damned hot. The last Telesforo mix we put up here was a banger, and this is no different. Good shit out of Guadalajara!

Via the homies Joelito and El Hijo de la Cumbia, of label/blog/international movement Emayo Cutz, comes a new mix from Guadalajara-based DJ Telesforo. The man himself (who, rumor has it, is always shirtless, hence the pic to the left) describes the mix, titled Tsunami Sonidero, as “fresh like fish,” which is about as good a description as anything.

I mean, hell, the thing starts off with a surf version of Hava Nagila. Gotta love that. Check it out, download it, get some sun on your skin.
